I discovered my passion for stuttering therapy in 2013, thanks to Anne Elsweiler; a professor who taught me that stuttering is complex. She filled me with knowledge and confidence that I could help people who stutter. What I didn't know back then, was how much joy would come into my life from the honor of working with people who stutter.

In recent years, the neurodiversity movement has transformed the stuttering community. I am thrilled that the voices of people who stutter are being amplified!

Over the past year, I've had the privilege of being mentored by Kristin Chmela, M.A., CCC-SLP, BCS-SCF as I pursue board certification in Stuttering, Cluttering and Fluency Disorders. Her guidance and expertise have absolutely changed the way that I provide stuttering therapy and person-affirming care. 

I recognize the challenges of blending medical and social models. I am dedicated to evidence-based practice while acknowledging the unique needs of each individual that I serve. I approach every client with curiosity as I strive to create a space of safety, connection, and growth.
